Chicago Adventure

2imagesAs I set my alarm for 4;30am on Sunday morning, I wonderd if I should even go to bed considering I would only get four hours of sleep. But then I realized anything was better than zero. My mom & I hopped in the car the next morning and drove to the airport to begin our adventure. As soon as we got to the airport there was already trouble. Spirit airlines boarding pass printers broke and no one was having it. People were cutting the line and shoving, so my mom was not having it and neither was I. My mom decided to approach the lady who jumped infront of us. “No no no back of the line lady” my mom says. The lady turns and goes “Who do you think you’re talking to?” We eventually made it to our plane with less that ten minutes to spare, if we didnt run to the gate it would have been closed.

We arrived to Chicago at 8, took a shuttle to our hotle and napped for a solid 3hrs. When we woke up we took a train to downtown Chicago and explored for a few hours before the U2 concert. Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

The Lumineers opened up for U2. Before they sang a song called charlie the gautarist Wesley Schultz told us a story. He told us about his uncle named charlie who went to fight in the vietnam war to fight for his country and unforuntually passed away after going. My mother and I were so moved with that story that we cried.

U2 started the concert by opening up with “bloody sunday” a classic hit.
